Job Description
Join a nationally recognized grinding services provider specializing in centerless and cylindrical grinding. This role involves operating CNC machines and supporting grinding processes such as honing, infeed, cylindrical, and ID grinding. Work includes short production runs, offering variety in daily tasks while maintaining consistent operational responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing or warehouse experience looking to enter or grow in the CNC field.
Responsibilities:
- Determine machine operation sequences and select appropriate cutting tools
- Operate grinding equipment including honing, infeed, cylindrical, and ID grinding
- Inspect and remove finished parts, separating defective pieces
- Handle short-run production jobs with varying daily tasks
- Maintain active workflow involving standing and movement throughout the shift
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of CNC operator or related experience preferred
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and ability to retain knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally (most parts are lighter)
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
