Your New Opportunity
As a Customer Account Specialist, you will blend customer service, account management, and logistics coordination to support clients’ transportation and shipping needs. Your work ensures orders are processed accurately, customer concerns are resolved quickly, and logistics run smoothly from start to finish.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs
• Enter, process, and track freight orders to ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Address customer inquiries and resolve shipping or receiving issues
• Provide proactive communication regarding order status and shipment updates
• Understand logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, and inventory flow
• Maintain accurate records and provide insights to management
• Collaborate with Operations to support customer requirements
• Identify process-improvement opportunities to enhance service efficiency
Skills & Competencies
• Strong client service orientation and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Cadence or similar platforms a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and recommend solutions
• Fast and accurate typing/data entry skills
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years of customer service or administrative experience, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment
