Job Description
The Assembler I is responsible for assembling parts and components according to detailed instructions and quality standards. This role involves using hand tools, machinery, and bench test equipment to meet production, quality, and safety requirements. The assembler will also package finished products for shipment and support continuous improvement efforts. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to support production needs, including overtime.
Responsibilities
- Assemble parts and components using hand tools, machines, or bench test equipment according to specifications
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, production processes, and quality standards
- Perform basic machine setup and operate equipment where applicable
- Package finished products for shipping and maintain production efficiency
- Adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, including OSHA regulations
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Ability to work independently with effective time management skills
- Willingness to train other employees on job functions and safety procedures as needed
- Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing production demands
