Job Summary:
The Document Control candidate is responsible for administering and executing document control functions for both small and large projects. The role supports the Engineering team and ensures proper documentation processes are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- It requires knowledge of document control systems and processes, especially within Owner and Capital Projects, and experience coordinating across disciplines and contract phases (e.g., FEED, EPC, EPCM).
- Manage official project documentation, including the receipt, processing, tracking, and archiving of engineering documents, requisitions, purchase orders, ITPs, and inspection reports.
- Expedite and oversee review cycles for company, contractor, and supplier documents; maintain complete and accurate revision history.
- Support the handover process by coordinating with vendors to compile, maintain during project execution and deliver Job Data Books at project closeout.
- Manage documentation for existing facilities and ensure timely distribution of vendor-supplied project documents.
- Assist on the internal document update management as part of Projects, MOC?s and the different department need.
- Handle multiple, high-volume projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
- Support integration of document control strategies between FLNG and vendors to optimize workflows and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of engineering document control processes and systems in a project environment.
- Exposure to engineering documents, for example P&ID?s, Data Sheets, Drawings (Piping Isometrics, Electrical One-Lines, Instrument Loops), Reports (Engineering Studies, Inspection and Testing, Etc.)
- Experience supporting multi-discipline teams and large-scale project execution.
- Proficiency in EDMS platforms (such as OpenText, SharePoint, ProjectWise, SDx or equivalent).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with precision and professionalism
- Must have valid TWIC card.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 per hr, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth.
